Well, this concludes our final moments in Kenya, our first and few moments in Germany, and our trip back home. Again, we thank all of you for taking this journey along with us. We couldn’t have done any of this without your love, support, and prayers.
Our last full day in Kenya was our Safari day! We got up early, piled in a van, and traveled to Nairobi National Park to see wildlife in their natural habitat. Sadly, we weren’t able to see any lions or elephants, but we did see zebras, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, baboons, antelope, and much more. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, just kilometers away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We did some local shopping and met some great people.
First lady met a gentleman who showed her how to make custom bracelets for her friends and family when she gets home. We all enjoyed watching him create bracelets and necklaces located at TRM.
We said our goodbyes to our Kenya family and our hellos to our German family for the day. We arrived in Frankfurt Germany where enjoyed the day touring the city, visiting the local Christmas shops, browsing the mall, and learning the hefty price for using the washroom. (It’s usually only €1) We took in the beauty of the city before heading back to the airport and finishing our final leg of the journey.
We arrived home to snow laced trees and roads all leading us back to our respective houses. We reminisced of the awesome experiences we had on our trip and started making preparations for the next one.
This trip is the beginning of many other journeys God has prepared for Life Worth Living Church. We look forward to keeping you posted for all of them. Be on the lookout for the next step of faith God is bringing us to.
