Reflections from Sunday: Mastering My Possessions

God has so much intended for His people. He desires us to take on new territory and to go with the Spirit of God into uncharted areas. The problem we face as Christians is how do we do this? How do we master the possessions God has entrusted us with? Are we being good stewards? These are all healthy questions that God promised He would answer through His word. As you hear from the Master, you’ll be able to master what He’s entrusted you with.

The first thing we must understand is that what we say and believe play a huge part in how we master our possessions. In Mark 11:22-23, Jesus is encouraging His disciples to demonstrate their faith by speaking. In Matthew 17:20, He reiterated this statement, but also mentions the importance of your belief. We have to know and believe that God has given us things to master and possess. We must have faith and speak on it.

Faith comes through hearing the Word of God, speaking on what you heard, and ultimately walking in what you’ve received. God will continue to guide us and work with us as we master our possessions, but He will require us to believe and have faith. Be encouraged knowing God will supply you with destiny helpers along the journey and that He will never leave you or forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6) God out and master the possessions God’s given you!

Make today great!
